With no speed change when handle is shifted. If tractor freewheels with no engine compression hold back going down grade or will roll off when parked on a grade, with transmission gear selected the same direction as the down grade. Then the T/A clutch would not be engaging or holding for some reason. If tractor doesn't freewheel and is hard to shift out of gear sometimes the T/A clutch is not releasing to let T/A shift to low or T/A range. If tractor stops when T/A handle is pulled back the parts that lock T/A unit for T/A range are bad.
