Had a neighbor when I was a kid that had two 806's and a 1206. Pulled a 5-14 and a 5-16 with the 8's and a 6-16 with the 1206. Stepped along in low 4th with no problem. He had a tendency to turn the pump up a little but then wanted us to run it 4th which we did most of the time. Didn't have them weighted down that much. Good soil but hilly. He was plowing at least 8" deep. The 1206 didn't like it when plowing old alfalfa fields. The soil and terrain is the big factor.
