Check for junk in the tank. My 1256 and 1066 both have somthing in the tank that gets stuck in the shut off valve at the bottom of the tank. Causes them to bog down and because the pump is causing a vacume it revs up when the fuel goes through. I use a blow gun to blow air up through the tank and it fixes it right up.
