It would be helpful if we knew what was in the kit. A picture would be even better.
The IH solution for one remote double acting hydraulic circuit was the Christmas Tree valve. They were installed on SMTAs as well but you don't need it as you already have spool valves.
When the live power option became available, the reservoir was repositioned under the gas tank. On the back (left) side (facing operator) are three ports. Use the bottom 1/2" port to run a pressure line to your valve. Run the return back to the reservoir or the next valve. If I recall correctly, there is a plug on left side of the reservoir for return oil. If not, install a tee at the fill plug.
You will have to hold the liftall lever back while operating the Prince valve. Or you can lock the lever back by rotating the small tang attached to the reservoir.
Not sure why they sent you a plug.
