My new to me M has been undergoing fixes and repairs since I got it a few months ago. Now I see the rear axle seals are leaking. I did an archive search and came up with a few pieces of advice.
Here are my questions. Is there an inner seal behind the ball bearing on the axle? I took of the outer cap with a CR seal # 48776-D in it. When I did that I noted some play in the bearing. Can I replace that bearing without taking the the top cover off the tractor?
