After removing, instaliing, removing installing a couple of radiators on my SH tractors I have a couple tips for you all. One Use new hardware everywhere. I did this and when one rad had a leak I was able take it off in about 10 minutes. Two. Those impossible castle nuts and cotter keys. Sure, you can't use a standard nut and lock washer because you are only compressing the washer against a spring. Solution? 7/16 fine nylon insert locknut. Three. Cut your pads in rectangular shape from old conveyor or similar belt material on the band saw. You can cut a dozen the right size in a minute. Anyone need any? I got to cutting them and couldn't stop. Three bucks for a pair and no postage. Farmall guys only. Email open.
