If run more than 120% there might be issues with its life span. a 1:3 ratio would be fine. The setup to use a pump on the front is good. The biggest difficulty is in either positioning the pump to clear the frame rails on either side, hanging it down under, or making a reliable constant velocity joint to use the hand crank shaft hole. I would use a surplus hydro pump designed to run at 2000 or more RPM, and a cog belt drive in front of the front pulley. I would also probably use an electric thermostatically controlled fan to allow more room in that area. Jim
