Drain as much of the old gear oil as you can, replace plugs, fill with 5 gallons of diesel. Run a little while forward and backward very slowly to circulate the diesel, then drain. I used several swimming pool chlorine containers with lids to hold and transport the fluids to the tractor repair and implement dealer.
