I've been "Oliver" all my life so I need some help on a Model A. I've been watching for a Cub, but saw an A for sale yesterday. With no experience on Farmalls, but a good general knowledge of tractors, I need to know if $1,800 is a reasonable price.
The tractor has new tires all the way around, a good shade tree mechanic paint job (not buying to show)and starts with a touch of the starting lever. The engine was cold when I got there.
The tin is good, recent battery and all the lights are there and work.
The tractor doesn't have any hydrualics and I would be outfitting with a snow blade and and maybe a mower deck somewhere down the road.
What do you Farmalls guys think? I appreciate your thoughts.
