I have not done it on a cub. But i have done it to others. I would use a 1 wire alternator with low cut in . Thats the cleanist and easyist swap IMHO Brillman company helped me with a couple of my conversions. They have a small alternator with low cutin and 1 wire for 129- Not bad i guess. Alot of guys will come in here and tell you to find a small alternator off of some japan-made cars. I chose to support this company so i ordered from them.
