Owen the 12 inch clutch will not come out the bottom it is the 11 inch that you can change by dropping the lift all with the 12 inchers ya got to split her to get it out . Now as to the guys problem with finger hight who knows what someone else did with them as they may have played with the adjustments as we so often see on here where someone start to mess with something they do not understand and get it messed up and come running for help . And yep you need a fixture to bolt the plate down to to set the finger hight
