I bought my uncles m last fall. It is all original with the 6v battery, generator and cut out relay. I"m going through all the wiring. All the wires check out and the terminations are good on all ends. It has the 4 pos switch. My question is I noticed the wire that goes to the C/O relay marked terminal BATT was disconnected. When I try to connect it, it sparks, I put on my clamp-on amp meter on the wire and it goes up to 60 amps dc. Why would it do that? The tractor was off when I tried it.
