I just made up some new 0 ga cables with the metal flex shielding on them. What is the proper way to get them out of the battery box which is under the seat. All three of my 53-54 Supers have the same problem. When the lid is down tight there is just a small gap, maybe 3/8 inch. No way the nearly 1 inch shielded cable is coming out there. Only way I see is get out the die grinder and carve out a half circle near the center. Maybe also install 2/3 rds of a rubber grommet. How did Farmall get the cable out?
