Im pretty sure you cant put a gas tank in a building its agianst the law where i live .The gas they make today is much different than the gas they made 10 years ago, it will go bad much faster i think its because they removed the lead.
I believe it is because ethanol added, not because lead out. Ethanol loves to attract water from the air & it separates from the mixture over time. Just smell it & you will know when it has gone sour!
