Went a looked at the 250A I asked about a couple of days ago. I"m guessing it to be a 1978 or so. It has the D239 4 cy disel, started good and sounded good too. Loader was in pretty good shape too. It has the hydro transmission. How are these transmissions for reliability. Not going to pull anything too heavy. This one seemed to be O.K. I put the bucket into a pile of dirt and it spun the wheels in both high and low range with out any abnormal sounds or effort. I have a 966 with the hydro and we have had really good luck with it. Are parts readily availible at most IH dealers or are they hard to find? Thanks Dan
