The M does not have a 3 pt. hitch. I think you might be able to get a conversion kit. I am "multi-colored' too. Had a MT (tricyle version of an M). think they are both pretty comparable so it's your choice. But after years of experience with a JDMT, JDB, JD70, Farmall M and Farmall Super C, I daily have an increasing appreciation for the Farmall letter series tractors. I'm thinking that this is maybe influenced by personal preference and the fact that most of my formative years were spent on a Farmall M. Both red and green are good machines and I'm not going to start that old "What's better-Ford or Chevy?" argument. I just happen to really like my red ones but don't dislike the green ones. Probably I haven't helped you a bit!!
