I know you don't want Fram, but cross a C135 and a C136A Fram. The C135 is the short one, and the C136A is the tall one. Maybe you will have better look getting your Wix numbers going this route.
One more thing, I would run 15W-40 also. I run Pennoil, but Shell should be good too, since they own Pennzoil.
