Generally they can be had for less. Mine cost me $2500 about 16 months ago, but the loader needs a ton of welding to make it useable. You don't way where you are located, that makes a good deal of difference. If the 300U is fairly common in your area, you can probably wait and find a better deal. On the other hand, the "standard asking price" for a Ford 8N with loader around here seems to be about $3500-4000, and the 300U is a much more capable unit, especially if it has power steering (a must for a loader) and independent PTO and a working T/A.
