Glennster is right about the 540 Prince pump. The same pump is sold as a 1000 RPM pump by changing the splines. Yup, you get double the volume too.
If you have a lathe and welder you could take an over-riding PTO adaptor and cut off most of the ratchet part. Weld it to a disc with four or eight holes. True it up in the lathe. Cut a counter bore on both sides of the disc to obtain concentricity. Attach a torque arm to pump body so that it doesn't rotate.
Or you could bore out the belt pulley shaft. Weld in a 1-3/8 six spline ID adaptor. Get a PTO shaft extension and stuff it in the adaptor.
