I have my Farmall A appart right now and you should be able to check to see if that front plug is there by pulling out the oil gallery plug under the distributer and either looking or sticking a wire in to see if that plug is in. I have that side front plug out now and by looking in I can see the treads for the front plug that is behind the timing gear. My machine shop put my plug back in (good double check as I am ready to put the front cover on). Roger
