I purchased a 560 here a couple of months ago and an trying to get some of the bugs worked out. The hydraulic pump squalls for about 0.5 seconds whenever you let go of the hydraulic handle after actuating the cylinder. It is quiet as long as the handle is fully actuated or not actuated at all, but if it is only pulled slightly (like to move a cyclinder slowly) the pump squalls and it pulls the engine down. I thought maybe the unloading valve was sticking so I took it apart and cleaned it up. When in the valve I found two washers under the spring, which I assume was a previous owner"s way of increasing pressure. I removed them with hopes this would fix the problem, but it didn"t help. Also, I don"t think it would affect anything, but the fast hitch has been removed. All of the mechanism to the tel-a-depth is still on the side of the tractor, but is not hooked to anything and the linkage from the handle is also unhooked. It seems this shouldn"t affect anything since both sides are unhooked and due to the differential gears the spool cannot be moved with both sides unhooked. I thought maybe it would be worth adding. Any idea what could be causing the noise?
