Engine numbers were not the same as the serial numbers. That engine number was probably used in December '59, on a serial number close to 7600. Casting date code "E' did not come around a second time during 140 production. 1979 was back to "C". The "V" code after the engine number indicates exhaust valve rotators were installed.
