Your pump probably needs to be rebuilt.
I knew that would come up :) My MD has some major pump problem (you pull the lever and it feels like it isn't hooked up) and my SMTA is stipped bc it leaked like a sieve and I wanted it lighter for tractor pulling anyhow...SOOOOO...I was only knocking the moldboard down in my garden so that I could get the rototiller in. I was only doing a patch about as big as two discs in a row. If it can't hold it's own doing that much work I don't need it around.
