Thanks for the info. I actually had not checked the stream. Last night I disconnected the fuel line from the fuel shut-off valve and then opened the shut-off valve and to my suprise there was only a trickle. I blew some air pressure into the fuel tank with the valve open which increased the fuel stream a bit. After that I reconnected the fuel line and started up the tractor. It didn't turn off anymore when idling but once I increase the throttle it does turn off after a while. Which tells me that there is still not enough fuel making its way to the carb. I am going to work on the tractor later this week. I think the problem is the fuel shut-off valve. I am going to replace and let you guys know how it went.
