Help!!!I am restoring my first tractor, rewired complete, runs great no smoke or knocks. NOW I WISH TO TACKLE FINAL DRIVES. My left axle has some play How many spacers are enough as I do not want to get it too tight. Do spacers fit on axle inside inner bearing? (No. 23 Washer at CNH) I understand the outer bearing retainer holds axle in place.(No 29 hub at CNH) I have a seed plate drive which I will remove and drive axle out. Other than a new seal Is there anything else I should do to prevent leaks. Sorry for the long post and thank you for any suggestions and tips you might share.
