6 volt batteries are about 30 bucks Tractor Supply Co. here is east central Illinois. Many other places stock several, but I don't suppose Auto Zone or the likes do. I am fortunate to be a farmer in a farm based area. Lot of 6 volts still used on the old stuff here.
