I suspect a leaking head gasket on my Super C and so, I started to yank the head. Nope..never done this before, but it doesn"t intimidate me...until I get backed into a corner..hehe!
I get everything on the outside loose, pull the valve cover and look everything over real close. There"s no getting that center head nut loose with the rocker arm in place...I cannot get a socket or a wrench on it.
Very well, I loosened all the rockers, took the rocker arm nuts off the studs and the arm assembly refuses to budge. So...just what does it take to get the rocker arm off the studs? I sure don"t want to pry or hammer on it...unless there is a specified manner to do it.
Every head nut is loose except that center one that hides below the center rocker arm support....if I can get it off....the rest should be easy. Thanks.
