Since IH did not make a Cub with 12V electrical in 1955, what you have is a custom job. As with any custom job, all bets are off on how it's wired.
Hopefully the previous owner simply replaced the 6V generator and regulator with identical 12V versions, and transferred the wiring over. A standard wiring harness appropriate for a 1955 Cub would work in this case.
