Andrew, I wonder who the supplier for the gaskets is now. Any numbers on the gasket? Looked at a couple I have, but there metal on both sides. IH one with 53436DE on it is stamped bottom side with part # on the same side. Have a NOS McCord stamped top with the part # on the same side, also steel sided. With both the outline of the ring around the cylinders is up when installed correct. Never used the type you have so not any help.
