Hi Hal, I have a cub that I have not been able to get started since the week before Christmas and have spent a lot of time getting cold fingers working on the rascal. Had spark and gas but no go. Yesterday it fired up right off. Took it on a good ride then let it run for an hour just to charge it up good. Sure was fun. Not as big as your 9 speed M though and a little rougher ride.
