I have read many previous posts and am a bit confused. Can I take my original generator to a shop and have it converted to 12 volts so I can run brighter lights and a 12 volt battery. I like the original look but would prefer brighter lights as I will be using this a lot at night. It did come with an alternator when I bought it but I have a 6 volt generator off my 340 I would like to use. Thoughts please and price?
