Ray, It's listed as a 1954 in Guy Fay's IH Tractor Data Book. The s/n range for 1954 Super C tractors begins at 187788 with the last being 198310. Your tractor is a Super C and not the earlier C which had s/n's before 100000. You probably have a fast hitch as most of the later ones did. Hope this helps, Hal. P.S.
