I bought a battery box for my SMTA from OEM about 3 years ago and experienced the same problems. I even had to cut off the 'L" shaped bracket on the right side of the box that is used to bolt the box to the platform & reweld it in the correct position :~(
I have bought some other items from OEM & have been less than impressed with them as well. Have heard others complain as well. I don't know if the problem is if they set their jigs up wrong & made a bunch of items incorrectly and are still selling from that stock or if they just don't care enough to redo their jigs.
