I hate to disagree but we brought a '51 M in 1961 that had a M&W hand clutch and it did the same work as our 400 did including pulling a #16 3X14in. plow and a 14ft. #37 tandem disc. It was also the lead tractor in a tandem tractor hitch pulling a #16 4X14in. plow and the same disc. Never had a bit of trouble with the hand clutch. In the fall it had a mounted 2ME corn picker on it so the M&W clutch got used then. So I would say use that puppy and enjoy it!!!!!! Armand
