Getting on and off a C is not as much of a problem as getting off an H or M with a 3 point. I am 72 (in a week), and have 3 points on a C, Super H and an M. What 3 points do is make the tractors more usable. Doesn't have to be tillage implements. Mine are used mainly for blades and sprayers, occasional bush hog. They will also handle rear mount cultivators, although I don't need those. I don't have a lot of opinion on mounted vs trailing implements, I have used both. Both have their pluses and minuses. I will say that the main problem with aftermarket 3 points is depth control. My 460 with tel-a-depth and fast hitch handles a blade for better than the aftermarket 3-point tractors.
