pete 23 Your suggestion came the closest to what I was thinking. Took cove off, moved the ta lever into forward (disengaged) position, depressed the transmission clutch, and gave it a whack. It move with much difficulty but still is very much lodged. Is there any other access to this area other than the small plate on top? I believe I will find a bolt or something lodged between the housing and the ta flywheel. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Dave Paxton
