Warren, Allan and I are among the ones that truly love the abilities of the old 966. They are a great platform to work from. If your TA is good just keep the TA adjusted like the book says. The engines need to be taken out and flogged severly fairly regular! LOL! Just meaning that the engines don't like extended ldleing times like 3 to 5 hrs of loader work when the engine temp and RPM isn't up enough to keep the engine from slobbering some oil out of the exhaust. If and when it does, For it will when doing light chores, just hook up to a heavy plow or chiesel, then, "Fire Wall the Throttle" make the old girl think you are trying to kill her, in a little while it slobbering will stop. As Allen said....You stole this ol girl!!! Great Job on your new stable mate for your old wheel horses. Later, John A. PS..You might want to, Go get an 18 in extension for your muffler, it will get the Exhaust smoke and engine noise up and away from the cab. Will help keep the cab more quiet and the DSL fumes from being dumped right into the cab air inlet on the front. Just above the windshield wiper motor!
