Need help on vave spring pressure on a stock 240 head. I,m installing a 240 head on a brand new reworked 123 ci block. The stock 113 head spring pressure is 30 or 43 from two manuals. I would like to know the stock spring pressure on the 240 head. I need stronger springs as I will be spinning it to 3k rpms. What after market springs or stock IH springs are available. Maybe stock 240-340 springs will be ok.
