Have you checked for fire to your sparkplugs while someone makes an attempt to start the engine with the ignition switch in the on position? If there's no fire when cranking. You need to watch the points while some cranks over the engine to see if the points are opening and closing. Could be the rubbing block is worn off if they're opening and closing. Set the rubbing block on your points to the high spot on one of the lobes in the distributor. Use a .020" feeler gauge to see if the points are too wide or are too close. You may need to open them or close them. You just can't look and think they're ok you need to check them. Once they're set at .020" move the engine so the points close then rub them with a point file or use some 320 wet or dry to clean them. Hal
