Sometimes those unit numbers can be quite hard to read. I just finished rebuilding a 40SI alternator that sure looked like the last digit was a zero but that was a number for a 40DN series. Turned out it had to be an eight.
In the mid eighties I purchased the service information from Delco. Basically the same information that is now on their site but covering the years from 1954 to 1985 along with some older information. I have the parts listing for your generator but the service manual is older that what was included in the ones I got so I do not have that.
