As Owen said, it might not be the gasket. The oil cup on my H was leaking just enough to keep it damp ever since I got it. For a couple of years I worked on the clamp that holds it on and tried every way to seal it better that I could think. One oil change day I had it off to clean it, happened to hold it just so and saw a speck of light. A tiny pin hole in the bottom. I washed it with Dawn, dried it well, and put a spot of JB Weld. Never another seep. Wm
