We have a 1946 M we pull antique stock and it doesn't drop any lower then around 800 to 1000 rpm or so I would think when under load and spins out every time. As far as Dwell goes can't get the Dwell in our M any lower then around 50 or 55,have ben told it should be lower but works good so why worry. Not sure what the timing is. One thing has your friend backed the stops in the governors back all the way to make sure they are not stopping it too soon. Also what is the rpm wide open sitting still with no load? Terry
