400-450 rear frames carry the same part number which is a revision of the SMTA part. All will work. I am guessing that 560-660 will also work but it carries a different part number. Probably has something to do with bearings and the hydraulic fluid pickup. I have installed 560 internals into a SMTA rear frame.
As for tips, it is not that difficult. Make sure you remove the bull gears before removing the pinion gear bearing cage.
