Last time I bought some Red, it was about $Aus3.00, (about $US5.50) a litre, or $US25.00 Imperial Gallon. Not sure what that would be in US gallons. Actually I use IH Hy-Tran in all my old tractors, we have enough newer IH and CaseIH machinery working on the farm, to keep up the supply of good used fluid for use in the old Inters. Tests out the oil seals a bit, but an old, long retired IH dealer suggested I use Hy-Tran in them because of it's wonderful moisture absorbing qualities.Regards, Redfan.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
