Mike - Early production light switches had a fuseholder on the backside of the switch. Later production use a separate fuseholder mounted in the ammeter panel cover.
I recommend a 20 amp fuse in the supply to the light switch. You can do this a couple ways:
1 - Get a cartridge fuse holder, drill a hole in the ammeter cover and mount it as in the later production tractors. (Try Radio Shack or the CIH dealer for the fuseholder.) Use an AGC20 glass fuse in the holder.
2 - Use a modern blade-type fuse and fuse holder and tuck it inside the ammeter box. (A blade fuse holder runs about $1 at any auto parts store.)
