I bought my 424 3 years ago. The charging system never worked ( just charged the battery alot). This year i'd like to get it working. The wiring has been completely screwed up. This tractor has an AMP light (no amp meter). I'd like to know how to wire it up. This is what I have so far. The F terminal from the generator goes to the F terminal of the VR. The A terminal from the generator goes to the GEN terminal of the VR. The A terminal from the VR goes to a constant power from the starter. The generator still does not charge. Do I need to hook up the AMP light somehow? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you, Joe
