Have an MD that I want to paint after solving some mechanical issues. Have some of tractor down to bare metal. It probably will be too cold to paint by the time I get around to it, so can I paint the bare metal with a self etch primer to prevent it from rusting, and then use an epoxy primer over that, when time and temperature permit? Or should I just leave it alone until I'm ready to paint? The tractor is inside. Any advice appreciated.
