I have a 6V DR gen( 2 brush) & VR on my W9 as as I posted eariler the only it would charge was by grounding the Field. I replaced the VR and still no charge I grd the F and it charged. after I removed the grd it was still charging and the VR was doing its job. After shutting the tractor off and re-starting same thig. I rigged up a little sw to mom. grd the F each time I start and it works this way. WHy is this. Tx you..
