Hugh was one of the first people I got aquanted with on here, and we had e-mailed each other a bit over the years. He was very knowledgeable about various IH tractors and John Deere as well. He was very supportive of me when my wife passed away 6 years ago. I always wanted to meet him in person. Hugh was the one that alerted me to the illness of Farmall Hal"s wife a few years ago, and I was glad he did. He could be out spoken but was always truthful. I was very proud to call Hugh my friend.
