Original M tractor rims go over the outside of wheel and are centered with wheel by the clamps. The stationary clamp, bolt and jam nut can be installed from either side of wheel. If the wheels are dished in or out the clamps could be installed so rim removes from the outside. Some later wide rims or widened rims don't have the rim drop centered. From the question or me not understanding the question I wonder if you have later model wheels. Do the wheels have 6 or 8 spokes?
